Annie Beth Company, LLC is out-of-network with all insurance providers. Insurance will not be billed and you are expected to pay the full session fee at the end of each session. My current session fees are listed HERE. If preferred, I can provide you with a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. However, I cannot guarantee reimbursement. Reimbursement is dependent upon your insurance plan and your out-of-network benefits. If you would like to utilize this option, I encourage you to check with your insurance company regarding your benefits prior to initiating counseling services.

After completing the FREE 15-minute consultation phone call and the intake paperwork, the first session will consist of an 80- to 90-minute intake assessment. During this session, we will review my policies and procedures, the limits of confidentiality, and your intake paperwork. We then discuss your symptoms and personal history. We will identify treatment goals and address your questions and/or concerns. Due to the extended nature of the intake assessment, this session may be scheduled at a different time than your normally scheduled sessions.

Most clients will meet with me once per week or once every other week. A standard group therapy session will last approximately 120-minutes (2 hours) and occur once per week. At this time, Annie Beth Company, LLC does not have any active groups. Please check back for updates.

The total duration of treatment is highly individual. For conditions such as PTSD, the American Psychological Association (APA) suggests that 15 to 20 sessions are required for 50% of clients to recover as evidenced by self-report. For clients with co-occurring conditions (e.g., eating disorders), the APA suggests that a treatment duration of 12-18 months may be necessary. That said, eating disorders are complex disorders and research also suggests that recovery from an eating disorder may take years. In part, this is because recovery from an eating disorder requires physical, behavioral, and psychological changes and healing to occur. Recovery is a process and changes do not occur overnight. Moreover, lapses and relapses are a normal part of the recovery process. This is not shared to discourage you from pursuing treatment, but rather to set realistic expectations. Ultimately, a multitude of factors go into determining “how long” treatment will take, but the most important factor is that you start. If I am not the best fit for you, that is okay! I am happy to provide referrals. However, if you feel as though I am a good fit to work with you, then I will help guide you along the way.

If you need to contact me via phone or email in between sessions, please send me an email or leave a message on my voicemail. I am often not immediately available; however, I will attempt to return your messages within 24 to 48 hours during the work week. On the weekends, messages may not be returned for 72 hours. I do not provide emergency services. If an emergency situation arises, please call 911 or 988.
Alternatively, Annie Beth Company, LLC utilizes SimplePractice, a cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, to manage scheduling, billing, and clinical documentation. SimplePractice also has an encrypted messaging feature built-in to the client portal. Clients may use this feature to discuss issues regarding scheduling or cancellations with me. Again, however, I cannot guarantee an immediate response and I ask that you do not use this method of communication to discuss therapeutic content and/or to request assistance for emergencies. Therapeutic content should be confined to session.
